How to Empower Women in Rural Areas - In 2016, Analysis and Consulting Team (ACT) with technical and financial support of UN Women, Swiss Cooperation Office for the South Caucasus (SCO) and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) conducted an analysis from a gender perspective of policies, programmes and services related to agriculture and local development, as well as an assessment of the extent to which rural populations, especially women, benefit from these. The study also includes an analysis of women’s and men’s roles in agricultural value chains and makes recommendations for development work on policy, institutional and grassroots levels.

JumpStart Georgia visualized the main findings of the study.
