Which countries send the most money transfers to Georgia?  - In the first half of 2015, 53% of electronic remittances in Georgia were sent from Russia and Greece, however, the recent financial crisis in those countries have affected the size of the remittances. Comparing January-June of 2014 and 2015, the total amount of money transferred by electronic wire systems (Western Union, Money Gram, Anelik, Unistream, etc.) from Russia decreased by 41% and Greece dropped by 19%.
