Smoking and health -  - 1 year after quitting smoking the risk of heart attack and stroke drops by at least 50%. 

According to the World Health Organization, 30.3% of all Georgians smoke. Among them, 55.5% are men and 4.8% are women. 

To help people through the quitting process, JumpStart Georgia visualized the stages the body goes through immediately after quitting smoking. To encourage people to continue to not smoke, JumpStart Georgia has also included the benefits to the body on reducing the risks of obtaining certain diseases.
