Georgia is THE Software Pirate - Georgia has the highest software piracy rate in the entire world, with an average of 93.5% of all software in Georgia being pirated between 2008 and 2011. The infographic shows the average piracy rate for 52 countries, which includes Georgia, its neighbours, friends and potential partners, as well as the top and bottom ranked countries. Overall, the piracy rate was calculated for 111 countries. JumpStart Georgia found a strong relationship between GDP per capita and the software piracy rate in that as the GDP per capita increases, the piracy rate decreases. This relationship is also visualized in the infographic. -
