Challenges of Teaching in Georgia

According to the Ministry of Education, 22% of teachers in Georgia are over 60 years old, while teachers under the age of 30 make up less than 5%.

Aging teachers are not the only challenge the Georgian education system faces. Over the last 7 years, on average, 72% of teachers and aspiring teachers failed the qualification examinations.
