Acknowledging Violence Is Key To Stopping It  - The study found that 78% of the surveyed considers domestic violence to be very or quite prevalent. Most of them personally know a perpetrator or victim of violence.

In 2014 UN Women, in the frameworks of UN joint program To Enhance Gender Equality in Georgia in cooperation with the Institute for Social Studies and Analysis (ISSA) conducted a study – “Perception of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence in Tbilisi, Kakheti and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti”.

JumpStart Georgia visualized the main findings of the study. The infographic reflects the attitude of the population of Georgia towards violence against women and girls, as well as domestic violence for people living in Tbilisi, Kakheti and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti.
